According to Max Zorin (CHRISTOPHER WALKEN) in A View to a Kill, it’s the age of his beautiful French estate and stables—supposedly built by a duke who thought he’d be reincarnated as a horse. The story’s correct-—France’s Chateau Chantilly, where the film was shot, was indeed constructed by an aristocratic horse fancier. But it dates back only to the 18th century.
