BLEUCHAMP INSTITUTE OF ALLERGY RESEARCH

Entry Source: The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Chief Ernst Stavro Biofeld's (TELLY SAVALAS) cover organization in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Located at Piz Gloria, an Alpine peak accessible only by funicular, the privately run institute treats allergy victims—in this case, a group of beautiful women. As part of Blofeld's scheme to blackmail the free world, the girls are systematically brainwashed so that they will distribute a terrifying germ warfare toxin that can completely destroy the agricultural and livestock capabilities of selected nations. Blofeld is masquerading as Count Balthazar de Bleuchamp, a royal moniker that he claims. This association allows James Bond (GEORGE LAZENBY), posing as London College of Arms heraldry expert Sir Hilary Bray, to infiltrate the institute. The institute is eventually obliterated in a dawn helicopter assault by Union Corse gunmen led by Bond and Marc Ange Draco (GABRIELE FERZETTI).
