Steadfast U.S. Air Force general, portrayed by Bruce Boa in Octopussy, who commands the U.S. Air Force base at which an atomic bomb has been placed for detonation. At first treating James Bond’s (ROGER MOORE) warning as a joke, the commander becomes an instant believer when Octopussy (MAUD ADAMS) shoots the lock off the base of the circus cannon, revealing the ticking atomic device. Ordering his MPs to let Bond go, he quiets the crowd and watches as 007 carefully removes the detonator with nary a second to spare.
