(July 10, 1909–March 27, 1992): Irish character actor who portrayed Bond’s affable caddy Hawker in Goldfinger. Born in Dublin, Duggan made his motion picture debut in The Siege of Pinchgut (1959), a.k.a. Four Desperate Men, a crime drama that netted Duggan a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) nomination for most promising newcomer of the year (he lost to Hayley Mills in Tiger Bay).
