Hong Kong police detective, portrayed by Soon-Taik Oh, who is James Bond’s (ROGER MOORE) contact in The Man with the Golden Gun. They meet when Hip arrests Bond for the murder of Gibson, the British solar energy expert.

Hip later helps Bond escape from Hai Fat‘s (RICHARD LOO) estate. His friends are the swift-kicking young girls whose father runs a karate school. At the kick-boxing tournament, where Andrea Anders (MAUD ADAMS) is supposed to hand over the solex agitator, Hip joins the surveillance dressed in a peanut vendor’s uniform.
