KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN

Contributed by: The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

Colonel Sanders’s famous poultry franchise, which is plainly visible on a Kentucky boulevard when Felix Leiter (CEC LINDER) tracks 007’s homing signal in Goldfinger. Unfortunately, the signal isn’t Bond’s at all, but that of the unfortunate Mr. Solo (MARTIN BENSON), a Mafia ne’er-do-well who is murdered and crushed by Oddjob (HAROLD SAKATA) into the bodywork of a Lincoln Continental.

Although this scene plays as Kentucky, it was actually shot in Miami, Florida. The KFC still exists at 701 NW 119th St, Miami, FL 33168.
