A New York City native, Keys first performed on a motion picture soundtrack with the song “Rear View Mirror,” featured in Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001). Her first major hit was the single “Fallin’” from her album Songs in A Minor, which sold over twelve million copies worldwide in 2001, and won her five Grammy Awards.
