THREE RAZOR BLADES

Contributed by: The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

Concealed weapons carried by Soviet masterspy Le Chiffre (PETER LORRE) in the TV film “Casino Royale” (1954). Based exactly on author Ian Fleming‘s description, the blades are carried in his hat band, in the heel of his left shoe, and in his cigarette case.

James Bond (BARRY NELSON) uses the blade concealed in the cigarette case to shred his bonds and escape from the bathroom of his hotel room, where’s he being held prisoner with Valerie Mathis (LINDA CHRISTIAN) by Le Chiffre and his thugs. Bond then quickly steals a gun and kills the masterspy.
