(November 26, 1939–     ): Sexy American-born song stylist who performed the title tune in GoldenEye.

Born to poor black sharecroppers in Nutbush, Tennessee, Turner became one of the most successful rock artists of all time, with chart-topping hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It.”

She was first featured in a motion picture when her song (with then husband Ike Turner) “Finger Poppin’” appeared on the soundtrack of the John Waters comedy Mondo Trasho (1969). She was also memorable as Aunty Entity in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985).

She now lives in Switzerland.
