ZOLTAN

Contributed by: The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

Balding, gray-haired henchman of Russian masterspy Le Chiffre (PETER LORRE) in the 1954 TV film Casino Royale. British agent Clarence Leiter (MICHAEL PATE) thinks he looks like a basset hound. He carries a gun hidden in a cane that he sticks against the lower spine of James Bond (BARRY NELSON) in the Monte Carlo casino. Bond manages to disarm Zoltan, and he later gives Leiter the cane as a present for Scotland Yard’s Black Museum.
