(May 28, 1944–     ): Superstar singer, a multiple Grammy winner, who sang the title song in Licence to Kill.

A native of Atlanta, Knight made her motion picture soundtrack debut performing “Double or Nothing” for Rocky IV (1985). Two of her singles made it to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, “Midnight Train to Georgia” by Gladys Knight and the Pips, and “That’s What Friends Are For” with Dionne Warwick, Elton John, and Stevie Wonder.
