Mediterranean resort and classic James Bond location that once again hosted Bond (PIERCE BROSNAN) in GoldenEye. It’s where 007 meets his nemesis Xenia Onatopp (FAMKE JANSSEN), first dueling her red Ferrari with his patented silver Aston Martin DB-5 along those wonderfully narrow mountain roads, and then challenging her across the green felt of the baccarat table. Anchored in the harbor is a French frigate, aboard which is an expensive helicopter prototype that Xenia and General Ourumov (GOTTFRIED JOHN) will later steal.
