The World is Not Enough
The World is Not Enough launched in 1999, Pierce Brosnan’ s third outing as Bond, and involves Bond assigned to protect an oil heiress (Electra – played by Sophie Marceau), from threats – because her father was killed and was a friend of M’s – but Bond uncovers a scheme that involves a nuclear plot. Eon’s 19th Bond film.
The ultimate villain is a guy with a bullet in his brain and so he feels no pain. Electra is not what she seems, and Bond figures it all out with a great ending scene on a submarine. Bond is pretty brutal in this one.
