Ian Fleming Publications has announced that Ian Fleming’s works are being edited. They are removing or altering language in the books. This has caused quite a lively discussion amongst James Bond fans and literary fans in general.

This announcement comes shortly after a similar announcement about Roald Dahl’s books.

As this seems to be a trend, We look not just at written works, but editing other works of art as well. Are people offended by these changes? What would Shakespeare think?
