The required distance before duelists James Bond (ROGER MOORE) and Francisco Scaramanga (CHRISTOPHER LEE) are allowed to turn and fire in The Man with the Golden Gun. Bond takes his paces, but when he turns, Scaramanga has disappeared. The duel then continues in Scaramanga’s fabulous “fun house” maze.

In the original script, Bond and Scaramanga actually took shots at each other during a battle on the rocky escarpment of the island, which then segued to the “fun house.” This battle was never featured in the finished film, but some of it can be seen in the trailer.
