CAMERON, EARL

(August 8, 1917–July 3, 2020): Bermuda native who portrayed Pinder, an able British Secret Service operative who assists Bond (Sean Connery) in Nassau, Bahamas, in Thunderball.

Cameron made his feature film debut in director Basil Dearden’s Pool of London (1951), which also featured future Bond player Laurence Naismith (Diamonds Are Forever). His additional feature credits include Tarzan the Magnificent (1960); Guns at Batasi (1964); Battle Beneath the Earth (1967); Cuba (1979), reteaming with Sean Connery; The Queen (2006); and Inception (2010).
