A large, abandoned quarry in Chinnor, England, where the pre-credits hovercraft chase sequence for Die Another Day was shot. The quarry, which is located on Station Road next to an old railway line, contains hilly and rough terrain together with large waterways. Location work was begun on April 2, 2002, and filming was completed by June 20. Large, ornate temple gates were constructed next to one of the waterways, giving the location an ambiance befitting the sequence’s Korean setting.
