(August 12, 1957–     ): Ivory Coast native who portrayed African rebel leader Steven Obanno in Casino Royale.

Born in Abidjan, De Bankolé made his motion picture debut in director Jean-Paul Feuillebois’s comedy Comment draguer tous les mecs, or “How to Flirt with All the Guys” (1984). More recently, he portrayed the River Tribe elder with the distinctive lip plate in Black Panther (2018).
