(May 27, 1974–     ): Fleet-footed, acrobatic French actor and parkour specialist who portrayed Mollaka, the terrorist bomb maker in Casino Royale, his big-screen debut. Born in Paris, Foucan spent three months in the Bahamas on the Bond film. His amazing ability at what he coined “free running” first came to the public’s attention in Great Britain after the release of the television documentary film Jump London (2003) and its follow-up Jump Britain (2005). Foucan’s work in Casino Royale—leaping from impossible heights and landing unscathed—is truly jaw-dropping. The sequences also served to introduce the raw physicality of the new James Bond Daniel Craig.
