A medical term, quoted by M (EDWARD FOX) in Never Say Never Again, referring to harmful toxins that can destroy the body and the brain. In Bond’s (SEAN CONNERY) case, they’re caused by too much red meat, white bread, and dry martinis. It is M’s hope that a lengthy stay at the Shrublands health clinic will “purge” 007‘s body of any and all free radicals.
