(June 7, 1940–     ; birth name: Thomas John Woodward): Sexy Welsh pop superstar, nicknamed the Voice, who warbled the dynamic title tune to Thunderball. Jones was fairly new to audiences when the fourth James Bond was released on Christmas 1965. He had recently scored with his first chart-busting single, “It’s Not Unusual” (Decca Records).
