A maintenance and security chief who runs the solar energy plant on Scaramanga‘s (CHRISTOPHER LEE) island, in The Man with the Golden Gun, portrayed by Sonny Caldinez. One of the interesting complaints about the movie was that production designer Peter Murton had created a huge solar energy complex, but Central Casting provided only one person to staff it. Was this decision reflective of Scaramanga’s reputation as a harsh taskmaster? Or was it a tightening of the belt on the part of the producers? Somehow those purse strings opened in the next film, The Spy Who Loved Me, which had some of the largest set pieces ever created for a Bond movie. Some sources spell his name Kra.
