LEE, WILL YUN

(March 22, 1971–     ): Korean American actor who portrayed villainous Colonel Moon, a hot-tempered renegade North Korean officer and illegal arms merchant in Die Another Day.

Born in Arlington, Virginia, and raised in such diverse environments as the Bronx and Hawaii, Lee is the son of a tae kwon do martial arts grandmaster. Beginning his career in American television, he made his feature film debut as Jimmy Nguyen in director Gurinder Chadha’s romantic comedy What’s Cooking? (2000). Following his Bond debut in 2002, Lee appeared in Torque (2004); Elektra (2005), with fellow Bond veteran Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Licence to Kill); Hers (2007); The King of Fighters (2010); Total Recall (2012); Red Dawn (2012); The Wolverine (2013); and San Andreas (2015). He also costarred with fellow Bond veteran Michelle Yeoh in the fifth season of the British action series Strike Back (5 episodes, 2015).
