British railroad yard and station where filmmakers shot the chaotic sequence in which Bond (Roger Moore) escapes from Karl-Marx-Stadt, East Germany, in Octopussy. With the help of Peter Lamont’s art department, the British station was equipped with German fences and East/West German crossing points.

The same location was also the site of the sequences involving the armored train headquarters of Trevelyan (Sean Bean) in GoldenEye.
