Louisiana city and gateway to the bayou country that is an important location in Live and Let Die. The second of three British agents is murdered here in the film’s teaser.

Standing across the street from the Fillet of Soul nightclub, a suspected drug hangout in New Orleans’s French Quarter, British agent Hamilton observes a funeral procession moving slowly down the street to a solemn beat. Little does he know that it’s his own funeral that he’s watching. After a seemingly innocuous man stabs him in the back, the funeral procession stops, places the coffin over his body, and removes it to a much livelier beat.

The same exact assassination method is repeated later in the film when the unfortunate CIA man, Harold Strutter (LON SATTON), is also murdered in front of the Fillet of Soul
