Lot number of the green Imperial gold egg auctioned at Sotheby’s gallery in London, in Octopussy. Known as the Coronation Egg and designed by Carl Fabergé in 1897, the egg is enameled in translucent green, enclosed by a gold laurel-leaf trellis, and set with blue sapphires and four-petaled gold flowers with diamonds.
