(February 18, 1938–April 27, 2017): Professional Japanese sumo wrestler who played himself as the Tokyo contact of James Bond (Sean Connery) in You Only Live Twice. Agent 007 meets Sadoyanama in the stadium locker room and the immense wrestler gives him a special reserved seat, which will put him adjacent to his next contact, Aki (Akiko Wakabayashi). His Bond appearance was one of only two films he made. In 1966, he was the fiftieth yokozuna—the highest rank in professional sumo wrestling in Japan.
