(October 21, 1976–     ): Irish actor who portrayed C, the director of Britain’s new Joint Intelligence Service in Spectre.

Born in Dublin, Scott made his motion picture debut as Eamon Doyle in director Cathal Black’s Korea (1995). He may be best known as Professor Moriarty in the television series Sherlock (8 episodes, 2010–2017), for which he won the BAFTA award for Best Supporting Actor.
