Leonid Brezhnev look-alike, portrayed by Paul Hardwick in Octopussy, who referees the heated argument between generals Gogol (WALTER GOTELL) and Orlov (STEVEN BERKOFF) during a party conference on the NATO/Eastern Bloc mutual disarmament talks. Gogol recommends that the leadership accept the proposals because they do not compromise the Russian defensive position. Orlov, on the other hand, advocates a lightning-like military invasion of the West through East Germany and Czechoslovakia.
