(April 21, 1969–     ): British actor who portrayed duplicitous environmental entrepreneur Gustav Graves in Die Another Day. Stephens, who had previously played the young Clint Eastwood in Space Cowboys (2000), is the son of legendary actress Dame Maggie Smith and the late Sir Robert Stephens (so memorable as the title character in director Billy Wilder’s The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes).

A London native, Stephens made his motion picture debut as Othello in Sally Potter’s 1992 adaptation of the Virginia Woolfe novel Orlando. More recently, Stephens portrayed space traveler John Robinson in the revival of the television series Lost in Space (19 episodes, 2018–2019).
