A gold-smelting facility in Essen, Germany, where 600 ingots were created by the Nazis in 1940. One of these gold bars, recovered from the bottom of Lake Toplitz in Austria’s SalzKammergut region, becomes the prize in a high-stakes golf match between 007 (SEAN CONNERY) and Auric Goldfinger (GERT FRÖBE).
