A toxic gas that Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) intends to spray into the atmosphere above Fort Knox, Kentucky, in order to immobilize the garrison of forty-one thousand US soldiers in Goldfinger. Although he tells Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) and his gangster associates that the gas will merely put the soldiers to sleep, in actuality it is a deadly nerve agent. The gas is effectively tested on the “hoods convention” at Goldfinger’s Auric Stud ranch. Fortunately, thanks to her interest in James Bond (Sean Connery), Pussy switches out the gas in the canisters at the last minute before they can be deployed against the soldiers.
