Fanatical billionaire industrialist, portrayed by Michael Lonsdale in Moonraker, who plans to destroy the human population of Earth with a strain of toxic nerve gas dispersed from outer space. His plan for mass murder completed, Drax will the repopulate the planet with his own master race.

Drax is the head of Drax Industries (a.k.a. Drax Enterprise Corporation), a multinational company that, among other things, manufactures space shuttles—known as Moonrakers—in California with components from countries around the world. His own fleet of Moonraker shuttles, which are based in South America, will transport his master race into space. There they will live on a radar-invisible space station until Earth’s depopulation has been completed. When his orbiting installation is overrun by US astro forces, Drax is cornered by James Bond (Roger Moore) and tossed out of the station’s air lock into airless outer space oblivion.
