Instead, Fields accompanies him to the ritzy Andean Grand Hotel, succumbs to Bond’s charms, goes to bed with him, and is later killed by Quantum agents (she’s left on the bed in Bond’s hotel room à la Jill Masterson in Goldfinger, her lungs filled with crude oil).
