HENDRY, GLORIA

(March 3, 1949–     ): American actress and former Playboy bunny who portrayed the inept double agent Rosie Carver in Live and Let Die.

Born in Winter Haven, Florida, Hendry made her feature film debut as a cocktail waitress in director Daniel Mann’s For Love of Ivy (1968). Her other feature credits include The Landlord (1970); Across 110th Street (1972); Black Caesar (1973), with her Live and Let Die costar Julius Harris, for director Larry Cohen; Slaughter’s Big Rip-Off (1973); Hell Up in Harlem (1973); and Black Belt Jones (1974).
