(May 19, 1937–July 17, 2004): Six-foot, six-inch British character actor who portrayed Lippe, the SPECTRE assassin who attacks Bond (Sean Connery) at Shrublands in Never Say Never Again.

A native of Birmingham, England, Roach made his motion picture debut as a milkbar bouncer in A Clockwork Orange (1971). He also portrayed Hephaestus in Clash of the Titans (1981), and he was the giant German mechanic who gets killed by the propeller blades in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).
