(December 7, 1965–     ): Emmy Award–winning American actor who portrayed CIA agent Felix Leiter in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and No Time to Die.

A native of Washington, DC, Wright made his motion picture debut as a prosecuting attorney in director Alan J. Pakula’s Presumed Innocent (1990). He earned critical acclaim for playing the title character in Julian Schnabel’s biographical drama Basquiat (1996), and won both a Tony and an Emmy for starring in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America, first onstage and then in HBO’s 2003 miniseries adaptation.

More recently, he returned to HBO in the role of scientist Bernard Lowe on the popular science fiction series Westworld (27 episodes, 2016–2020), for which he has been nominated for two more Emmy Awards, one for Outstanding Supporting Actor and one for Outstanding Leading Actor.
