The James Bond movie, A VIEW TO A KILL, introduced us to the American LaFrance fire engine in a very fun chase scene.  This thing even jumped across a draw bridge.

What happened to this fire engine after the movie?  Is it still around?  If so, what does it look like?

Well, the Ian Fleming Foundation has restored the cab part of the engine.  It wasn’t in great shape when they got the cab.

Watch as Leonard Johnson tells us how this engine has been resurrected and restored.  It’s a very cool story.
