1965 ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL

Evelyn Tremble‘s (PETER SELLERS) wristwatch in the 1967 Casino Royale spoof. It’s equipped with a date indicator and log table around the outer band. Since Tremble is assuming the name James Bond and a dangerous assignment in Monte Carlo, he’s given a new watch—a two-way TV communicator that operates on Channel 6. This mechanism is based on the watch of an American comic-strip character, presumably Dick Tracy.
