(April 26, 1941–December 18, 2019): Stunningly beautiful French actress and Miss France 1958 who perfectly portrayed Dominique “Domino” Derval in Thunderball. Her last name is pronounced “aw-JHAY.”

A native of Paris, Auger made her uncredited film debut in writer/director Pierre Gaspard-Huit’s period romantic drama Christine (1958). She followed her yeoman outing in Thunderball with roles in many international films, including Triple Cross (1966), directed by Terence Young and costarring Bond veterans Gert Fröbe and Francis De Wolff; The Bastard (1968); The Bermuda Triangle (1978); Fantastica (1980); Black Jack (1981); and many more.

Like Ursula Andress in Dr. No, her Thunderball role was revoiced by actress Nikki Van der Zyl.
