CHRISTENSEN, JESPER

(May 16, 1948–     ): Danish film, television, and stage actor who portrayed the mysterious Mr. White in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Spectre.

A native of Copenhagen, Christensen made his motion picture debut in director Anders Refn’s Danish crime drama Cop (1976). Working in primarily Scandinavian films and television shows, Christensen made his English-language debut in Sydney Pollack’s The Interpreter (2005), a film that also featured Bond players Earl Cameron and Tsai Chin, and that undoubtedly brought him to the attention of the Bond producers.
