Hugo Drax’s beautiful executive assistant and helicopter pilot, portrayed by Corinne Cléry in Moonraker. Based at Drax’s enormous French estate, which has been rebuilt brick by brick near Drax’s Los Angeles space shuttle manufacturing plant, Dufour becomes an early bedmate for Bond (Roger Moore).

Unfortunately, in Drax’s eyes her dalliance with Bond also marks her for early termination. After being unceremoniously dismissed, she is chased through a nearby forest and devoured by Drax’s vicious Dobermans. This sequence was featured effectively in the film’s unusual teaser trailer campaign, which contrasted the tranquility of a picturesque forest scene with the deadly hounds killing their human prey.
