A British boat-building company that supplied the motorboats to the From Russia with Love crew in 1963. The boats, which were driven by Bond (Sean Connery) and a group of SPECTRE agents in the film’s finale, were loaded onto trucks in Glasgow, Scotland, and taken to the coastal village of Crinan, where they were deposited on an estuary and then motored out into the Atlantic. Fairey Marine’s Peter Twiss, a former Royal Air Force pilot who was the first man to fly a jet aircraft faster than 1,000 mph, was in charge of the flotilla.
