(March 27, 1935–     ): British character actor who portrayed well-tailored heroin smuggler and Soviet agent Aris Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only. A native of London, Glover made his feature film debut in Tom Jones (1963), which won the Oscar for Best Picture. His additional feature film credits include The Alphabet Murders (1965); Five Million Years to Earth (1967), a.k.a. Quatermass and the Pit; Alfred the Great (1969); Wuthering Heights (1970); Nicholas and Alexandra (1971); Antony and Cleopatra (1972); Hitler: The Last Ten Days (1973); Star Wars: Episode V—The Empire Strikes Back (1980), as General Maximillian Veers; The Fourth Protocol (1987), with fellow Bond player Pierce Brosnan; Cry Freedom (1987); King Ralph (1991); Troy (2004); and Alien Uprising (2012).
