KINCADE

Elderly game warden and caretaker of the title property in Skyfall, portrayed by Albert Finney. Skyfall is the Bond family estate, located deep in the Scottish Highlands. It is here where Bond (Daniel Craig) takes M (Dame Judi Dench) to lure cyberterrorist Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem) into a final confrontation. However, due to poor planning, Bond’s only ally proves to be Kincade, armed with a mere shotgun and woefully inadequate defenses. However, Bond and Kincade go way back, and with M’s help, they devise an elaborate number of booby traps to waylay Silva’s small army of thugs. According to Skyfall director Sam Mendes, there was initially some discussion about casting Sean Connery in the role of the Scottish game warden, but the idea was nixed because “I thought it would distract” to have the legendary Bond actor show up in a different role.[1]
