Located in New Orleans, it’s where filmmakers shot the wild chase between Bond (Roger Moore)—in his training Cessna—and killers working for Kananga (Yaphet Kotto) for Live and Let Die. Stunt coordinator Joie Chitwood organized the chase, which involved crashing cars into, over, and around airplanes. Chitwood’s team even crashed the training Cessna through some partially closed hangar doors, which sheared off its wings.
