The martini order famously preferred by James Bond throughout the 007 series.
It’s the basis for one of the greatest bloopers in all the films: When Bond (Sean Connery) visits his colleague Dikko Henderson (Charles Gray) at his Japanese-furnished apartment in Tokyo in You Only Live Twice, the host offers him a martini, asking, “Stirred, not shaken?” Bond, without batting an eye, says it’s fine, apparently forgetting his long-standing preference to the contrary.
