SIGNATURE GUN

Contributed by: The James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

Custom-built sniper rifle supplied to James Bond (Timothy Dalton) by Q (Desmond Llewelyn) in Licence to Kill. Made up of seemingly innocuous Hasselblad camera parts, the gun fires high-velocity .220 caliber shells and is equipped with an optical palm reader matched to the authorized user’s right handprint. Once programmed, only James Bond can fire the weapon. It also has a Bushnell infrared gun sight.

Unfortunately, Bond is captured by Hong Kong narcotics agents before he can put the signature gun to good use against drug runner Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi).
