Natural-gas pipeline that is defecting Russian General Georgi Koskov‘s (JEROEN KRABBÉ) escape route out of Czechoslovakia, in The Living Daylights. Helped by Bond (TIMOTHY DALTON) and Rosika Miklos (JULIE T. WALLACE), a friendly gasworks employee, Koskov is placed inside the “pig” – a scouring plug designed to clean the interior of the pipes. This “pig” has been specially modified to carry a human being through the pipeline to Austria.
