The nickname of American agent James Bond (Barry Nelson) in the TV adaptation Casino Royale (1954). It’s mentioned by British agent Clarence Leiter (Michael Pate), who knows Bond’s reputation as an expert baccarat player. Bond’s card shark persona is a cover for his espionage work with America’s Combined Intelligence Agency.
